Hello I am looking to see if any of you guys can help me I offered to help build a gaming pc for a friend of mine and he gave me a budget of $400. He said he doesn't care about playing on ultra or anything just wants to be able to play in 1080p at least. I originally mapped out a build with the Ryzen 3200g and chose to skip a out on a GPU until later but I can't for the life of me find a motherboard that is compatible out the box. I would just say I could update the bios for him myself but I don't have a spare cpu. So i'm looking for some help to put a parts list together that will fit his budget. Thanks for any help in advance Edit: I was told the B450 Tomahawk Max might be ready out of the box but I wasn't sure if this was confirmed

Some extra info wouldn’t go amiss.

What monitor do they have right now? Refresh rate (assuming its 1080p nothing else is needed).

What games so they want to play at 1080p?

Do they have a freesync or g-sync monitor or does it not have support for variable refresh rate?

Do they already have all the peripherals?

Do they already have or can they source a cheap SSD for a boot drive?

So to Answer a few questions

1. Used parts are fine just haven't had much experience looking for them

2. as for the monitor he is  using I don't know the specific one he just told me he bought a basic 1080p monitor

3. as for the SSD I am giving him a spare one I have and he has all peripherals

4. Games he is interested in would be Rainbow Six Siege, Overwatch, and Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare

Also he is willing to break 400 slightly just wants to keep it close to a entry level build for now
