possible? probably. A good idea? No. The 2070 will be horribly bottlenecked not only by the TB3 interface but also by the 6700HQ. It'll perform the same as a 1660/580 and you'll have wasted money.

Thanks a lot 5x5, I really appreciate it. I guess I just gotta build a pc to experience the meaning of enhanced gaming.

If you already have the Amp - I'd do one of two things. Sell the laptop and Amp and invest in a Ryzen 5-based PC or source a used 1660/580/590/1060 and use that.
