Hey guys, I made my brother a computer build not even a year ago. Lately he his computer has been completely freezing up on him. I tried a lot of troubleshooting already but at this point I figured it would be best to ask for advice.

Things I have tried:

New RAM.
Ran a Memtest on the RAM, it froze while running the memtest and that was with the SSD removed from it. So I ruled the SSD out.

New GTX.

Reformatted the SSD, just in case.

It really only leaves the MB, CPU, and possibly the PSU left? He also has an external hard drive that he likes to connect to the computer to run games off of. But even with this disconnected it continues to freeze. All of those aren't easy fixes like removing the RAM, so I figured I would come here to ask which part could be the culprit. I know the PSU is a Raidmax and those don't have the best reputation but he really wanted the RGB PSU lol.

Any advice welcome,
