7750 vs 5870?

I have an old 5870 that I might give or sell to my friend to replace his 7750 because I'm pretty sure it's better because I was still playing triple A titles with that card. Not on the best graphics settings but hey. Would he benefit from the 5870 over his current 7750? He plays mostly counter strike, gmod, dota 2, dayz, and rust. Not sure what cpu he has, will edit this when I find out. Pretty sure it's shit though.

Yeah I think a 5870 would be a better card as I found out it was better then my 6850 I use to use haha
