Gaming rig 2020?

hello, Im looking to build a brand new gaming pc but given that its 2020 and both AMD and INTEL will more likely change the socket types on their CPU's soon, is it worth it to build now or wait a year or two for the new socket type CPUs? not to mention DDR5 RAM is going to be available at any moment?

Personally i feel as if you need a upgrade then upgrade. If you do not then just wait and see what happens

If your current system makes you want to bash it to death with a hammer, then do it now.  If it works, but you aren't getting framerates as high as you want in the games that you play, then waiting might be your best bet.
