Need help with graphics card

I previously had an rx580 (4GB VRAM) and I recently purchased an rx580 (8GB VRAM) and when I play games the frame rate is horrible and on other games it shuts down my pc. The CPU I have is a ryzen i7 1700 Eight-core processor. I don't know how to fix it, I'm pretty sure I have to upgrade my CPU but I don't know which one will solve the problem.

Did you check the temperatures? Also what resolution are you playing at? The upgrade in vram will only let you get better graphics(for games that need more vram) otherwise. Its not gonna increase your performance that much.

Im with the mentaility of "IF IM NOT SURE IF ITS ENOUGH COOLING, GO OVERKILL"

PSU             : Thermaltake Lite power 550W (Gonna change soon as i dont trust this)

CPU COOLER      : ID-Cooling SE 207
CASE FANS       : Mix of ID cooling fans, Corsair fans and Rakk Ounos (planned change to ID Cooling)
DISPLAY         : SpectrePro XTNS24 144hz Curved VA panel
MOUSE           : Logitech G603 Lightspeed
KEYBOARD        : Rakk Lam Ang

HEADSET         : Plantronics RIG 500HD

Kingston Hyper X Stinger

 

and a whole lot of LED everywhere(behind the monitor, behind the desk, behind the shelf of the PC mount and inside the case)
