I inserted another stick of ram into my computer and my monitor wont boot up, i put the ram in the right slot and it was the same stick of ram and i did everything correctly with the installation but my monitor wont boot up i don't know what to do.

Have you tried removing the RAM and going back to how it was, just to see if that helps?

reset CMOS. and update the bios via usb flash? (if your motherboard has one)

can you test wiht single stick of ram? or put the ram in another pc? try with the ram you had in the first place

I Use my knowledge as business owner and self taught technician aswell as an AI to help people. AI might be controversial but it actually works pretty well 90% of the time.

This is all great advice OP, and what I would have said once we figure out if you can get the PC working how it was via taking the stick you put in back out.

We just need to understand where you are right now, and what you have tried so we can best help :)

So your old RAM works fine, but the new RAM does not?

What is the new RAM you got?
