New keyboard options

I am heavily debating getting a new keyboard. Right now I am rocking an original Corsair K90 with only blue backlight and Cherry MX red switches. With coronavirus out I cant really go out and test a bunch of keyboards right now unfortunately.

 

It has lasted me a good 7-8 years but I am getting kind of bored of it. The rattling spacebar and enter key are starting to get on my nerves.

 

Right now I am looking into possibly switching from Cherry MX Red and linear switches to maybe a clicky or tactile switch of some kind. The requirements are also need a numpad and esc key as I play mmos and don't want to always be hitting the function key. Media keys are not as important to me. I'd also like a nice wrist rest.

 

I'd like to stick with the big name brands. I am looking at the following keyboards:

 

Razer Huntsman - Purple switch

Razer Huntsman Elite - Purple Switch

Razer Blackwidow Elite - Orange Switch

Logitech G815 - Tactile

Steelseries Apex 7 - Brown Switch

 

If the Steelseries Apex Pro had tactile switches I would get that in a heartbeat.

 

Corsair makes quality products but their spacebar rattle is starting to annoy me.

Id also prefer a standard bottom bar so that if I want to replace the keycaps with PBT doubleshot it would be nice.

 

Any other suggestions are welcome but dont want a little known company. Thanks.

would recommend the ducky one 2, comes with pbt keycaps in the box and overall solid keyboard

Sounds like the stabilizers might be worn after years of use.  Since you're looking to switch to tactile feedback, want PBT key caps and a nice wrist rest, I'd suggest the K95 RGB Platinum XT.  The new XT version comes with PBT keycaps and a cushion wrist rest.  You also have the choice of Cherry MX Brown or Blue switches for tactile feedback.  If you have any questions, let me know.
