So I got a voucher from my school for $450 to best buy and I added some money to it and made it a $1000. I need a desktop for going to school and then after Doing my job. That would just include Finance for medical billing. I don't have a Monitor or keyboard or mouse neither. I feel like i could find that stuff on like Facebook Market place tho. I am asking should i go with a prebuilt system or could i still build on one from best buy and get all my parts from there better bang for my buck! Thank you in advance for your help!!

California I would have to order all the parts. If thats why you are asking

Just asking for currency purposes. Lots of people from Canada, NZ, Australia, etc.

I would suggest building it yourself. Certainly better bang for buck.

No, but in that case, have you thought about getting a laptop?  For the money you have you could probably get a nice powerful little laptop that is stylish and easy to carry around.  Screen size would be smaller, but most have a port (sometimes requiring an adaptor) where you can plug in a screen when you are at home - with mouse and keyboard.

That is what I do for work.  I run my laptop to 2 x 27" monitors when I am doing work related stuff.
