Hey so i am thinking of getting a RTX 2070 Super with ryzen 5 3600 or
Rtx 2060 super with i7 9700k

I play csgo rainbow six siege and warzone etc fps games and i was wondering which one to go for as i will be trying to stream but not very often and also record.

Im leaning to the Rtx 2070 super combo let me know what you think

Definitely the 2070 Super combo, a 3600 is all you'll really need.

Alright but if i would have more money left should i put it into a 2080 super for example or invest the rest into the ryzen 7 3700x? Like which one to upgrade if i get more money

Remember to use @ when replying to someone so that they get a notification if you don't intend to reply directly like I did above. I think a 3600 won't hold back a 2080 super that much at least from what I've heard myself.

You are comparing two vastly differently priced CPUs and taking a hit on GPU to do it.

If you want the 2070 Super with Intel, then look towards the i5-9600k which is similarly priced to the Ryzen 5, so if you can have a 2070 Super with Ryzen, you can have it with the i5.

Video comparison here:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZcvRqVJS9jU

The Ryzen wins quite easily on all multicore synthetic bench tests, but for games there is a lot more competition between them. You should look to see which works better on the games you want to play.

This video just compares games:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q0_DBUJrWl4

You will see the i5 has a better FPS in the game you mentioned Rainbow Six.  But the difference is at a level where no human being could tell..297 fps and 329 fps but he is running a RTX 2080 OC GPU.

There is a lot of hype around Ryzen at the moment, for good reason, it is the first time AMD has competed on the CPU market for a long time and their chips are really good. I bought one.

But that doesn't mean that AMD is the right choice in every case use scenario, and you need to consider whether it is the right choice for you.

What you should do is post up a Parts Picker list, set out what your budget is, and be precise about exactly what you intend to do with the PC - just play games, stream games, edit videos of gameplay do some college work, 3d rendering.

Then people can look at what money you have, where you are spending that money and give you advice on what you can achieve with the money you have.

Asking people whether those two choices are better is always going to result in the same answer....get the better GPU for gaming, which will skew the answers that you get.
