My display keeps having this on and off problem where it cuts like 2 lines of pixels down the middle of the screen and moves them to the far edge..

  • It doesn't show up if I take a screenshot.
  • I do not have a second monitor, nor are those settings enabled.
  • Turning the monitor off and on doesn't correct it
  • Sometimes restarting my computer does
  • Sometimes it's only happening in my active game window but goes away if I reboot the game

What is possibly causing this and how can I fix it?

Thank you in advance 😊

Doesn’t help that the pic is of a sedentary rock face.  Lots of horizontal lines to start with.  If it was a Sony trinitron CRT  I’d have an answer for you.  As it is I’m wondering if you’re using a synch (g or free).

Not a pro, not even very good.  I’m just old and have time currently.  Assuming I know a lot about computers can be a mistake.

Life is like a bowl of chocolates: there are all these little crinkly paper cups everywhere.

I do have g sync. And  it's not in the rocks. It's cutting through the text on the screen. You can see it messing up the 5's, the G in RGB, all in a straight vertical line. Then the last imagine is to show where it's moving that line to- The white line on the far right side of my screen is the visual info that should be in the middle where the text is messing up
