FPS game reccomendations.

I am just getting into PC gaming and was about to pick up BF5 but have seen a lot of people saying that it is not a great game so I am now trying to find a different FPS game that wont be a waste of my money.

Modern warfare is actually a really great shooter, despite all the people complaining

 

CS:GO is still quite vibrant

 

Are you strictly looking for competitive games?

I already play CS:GO but was drawn to BFV due to the long matches and spectacle but have now seen many people saying that its trash. I am looking for competitive games as I already own a few Single player rpgs such as witcher 3.

I'd say try modern warfare then. It's fairly dynamic and the dev team is keeping that game very alive
