Advice needed

For this current build I currently have 2x evo 970 500gb m2 cards I had planned to run in raid 0. What I didnt think about is you cannot install your operating system to those in raid 0. I happen to have an older 10k rpm velociraptor drive that I could use as a boot drive and still run those in raid for the games. I was curious as to how much since that would actually make though. I mainly thought of doing this until I can replace the raptor with an ssd to boot off in the next few months. Thoughts ??

Your specific case use may really require the Raid 0 day one, but wouldn't it be worth just booting from NVMe until you get the SSD to boot from just as a daily irritant of booting from mechanical drives and feeling like it is the 1999 again might be draining.
