GPU problem

so I recently built my pc and when I turn it only the gpu fans continue to run at Max speed but noting is being displayed so what could be wrong?

What are your specs? And what is the model of the power supply? Maybe your GPU isn't getting clean power or enough power to power on, some PSUs can be really shady.

 

It can be a number of things, try the following:

 

Check if the GPU is properly attached to the PCI-E slot, check the slot itself for any dust/dirt/bent pins

If you have another PCI-E slot on your motherboard try switching to that one to see what happens

Try switching the PSU cable(a similar thing happened to me before and this fixed the issue)

Update your motherboard BIOS

If you have the possibility ask a friend to place on his own PC to check if the issue still persists on his rig

 

If all of these fail I'd assume this could be because the GPU is DOA and you should RMA it as soon as possible.
