Hello all,

I want to thank anyone for taking the time to read the post and post any comments or help if you choose to do so.

Asking for someone to comb through my build and double-check to make sure everything is compatible with the other. I am pretty sold on Nvidia cards, also Intel chips. Don't know why... It's all I have ever owned.

As for the case, I Chose this because I had a fun idea with it, its air-cooling capabilities plus it's a good price tier. I know I can go cheaper and I know I can burn a lot more money with other cases. I am still undecided. I don't mind spending that 100 dollar mark. Taking suggestions.

Planning on using this as a well rounded computer, gaming, video editing and using 3d graphics programs.

like to stay around the $1500

Old PC had been going strong for 9 years and it is struggling. Having display problems.

The other items seemed to be a good price to me and I think I saved where I could and also got what I wanted.

What do you all think? Comments, concerns, complaints all welcome. Thanks again all. Enjoy.

So for the power supply you should be more that ok with a 750w or a 850w unit. For the cooler I suggest the Noctua NH-L12 if you are sticking with your original case. As for fans you should go with the noctua NF-F12 if you don't mind any rgb and the color. For the case I think that the Phanteks P400S is good for $100

There is little reason to give your money to Intel. A Ryzen cpu is a much better option. As for the gpu if you need cuda support then stick with Nvidia. Otherwise a 5700/XT is usually better value.

As for your parts list that psu looks sketchy as hell. A 1000W unit should cost a lot more than $89.99. In any case you don't need anywhere near that. A 550W would power that setup.

Are you just buying from Newegg ?

Thanks for the warning with the PSU i'll have to go re-look at that. I am open to other sites don't know too many others though.

Very intriguing build, but want to poke around a little. Isn't it better to have two 16GB sticks rather than 4 8GB? Or does it not matter? Found 2x16GB stick for a little cheaper. Also found a PSU that was mildly cheaper but still cheaper for a 750W. Will give links at the end of my post. For this build I still might go with my case because it fits with the "theme" I had in mind and over all feel I am going for. For that board any extra things on my part like bios flash? Hoping to do as little as possible as this is my first build. Wanting to make it more fun than frustrating as possible. :)

I do thank you for the time you took to post this and the suggestions. Don't mean to offend you DomDaBomb but, all in all still my computer and I have to like it.

A 2 x 16GB kit of Ram is better.

Not sure how you are going to install those SSD's as that board only has 1 x M.2 slot. And the Silicon Power A80 is better at that price point.

Forgot about the only one m.2 slot, can get a 1tb sata  ssd for less anyway
