I have a seasonic focus GX 550w 80+ gold PSU. I am going to be upping that wattage soon, thinking at least 650w. I have seen warnings saying to not mix PSU cables. if i got a 650w PSU of the same exact model (again, Seasonic focus GX 80+ gold) would it be okay to swap just the PSU without having to undo cables. seems like an obvious answer to me but hey, if i don't ask then I'll never know. Thank you!

...why are you upgrading to 650. Unless you want the 550 for another PC in which case it makes sense I guess
