Hi 

 

I have just put together a new system of criminally discounted parts that is going to be a Nas for my folks. 

CPU is ryzen 1600 mobo x370 Am4, 2 sticks of 8gb  2666 MHz a 450 watt psu. 

 

Everything is hooked up and all LEDs and fans are running. Put no post, I checked all the HW on a different motherboard and again no post, then I tried a new 1600 cpu still no post, tried new ram no post. 

 

I then tried bot CPUs in my parents desktop and it works like a charm, only difference between the new system and the desktop is a graphics card. 

Any help would be appreciated at this point as I have tried all components in the desktop and they are working only solution I can think of is that both brand new motherboards are DOA as all the components work on the B series AM4 board in my parents desktop.

Do you have a graphics card? The 1600 doesn’t have integrated graphics so you need a graphics card.
