Dedicated PhysX

Go to solution Solved by kuzimins,

yes

You would probably benefit more by not having one and selling your 660 to get money and upgrade your system further or just save the money. You wouldn't see much difference with a dedicated card for Physx if you are already planning to have the top tier graphics card.

Yeah, but Idon't think I would get much for it. And this guy http://volnapc.com/how-much-difference-does-a-dedicated-physx-card-make made a test with a 650 and 2 Titans, the improvement was pretty good.

lol a dedicated Physx card to pair with a 780Ti? Im sure a single 780ti can handle way more than that. Drop the 660. Sell it.

yep, but I don't think I would get much... And I just want to see for myself if the improvement is good, if not, I'll sell it.

Fair enough... I take my words back, I mean that used to be the case before but I guess games didn't use too advanced Physx back when I looked up the information about this. You can always try it and if it doesn't work too good, sell it :P

Yep, and I have a friend that needs a graphics card.. So I don't think I will get problems selling it if that was the case.

I will test with and without the 660.

a 780ti will be able to push as much PhysX as you want, there is not any need to get a dedicated PhysX card.

And yes, 750W would be enough to power it even go through with it.
