I have a 780ti that is close to 7 years old now that I think is dying based on random black screens and random fractals being displayed. I've attached a picture showing what my gpu is displaying (3 monitors black and my TV with fractals, also have had certain monitors with green fractals) I also have 2x RX 570s in a mining rig that I isn't producing much anymore. My question is what kind of power will the crossfire 570s produce compared to something like a 1080ti, 2060, or a 2070. Also does this 780ti seem salvageable. IMG_1256.HEIC

sli/crossfire is deads. Nothing really supports it anymore. You could sell them and get rx 580 8gb used or rx 590 (because why not)

I Use my knowledge as business owner and self taught technician aswell as an AI to help people. AI might be controversial but it actually works pretty well 90% of the time.

crossfire RX 570 should near 300w if they can both be utilized by the game, so realistically you're still going to have double to 1.5x the power draw of a 2060 or 2070 while still being slower.

 

Cards that artifact could be fixed, but GTX 780 is too old and doesnt worth enough for the repair.

you could try reflowing method, burning the chip with a heatgun enough to melt the solder contact.

but this is a temporary solution, problems will occurs months after.

i say sell those 570s and get a used 1070.
