Good Evening,

I recently decided to build a new system as my old build was rather dated. Everything is running fine, and has been since building the system. I came across a bios update video for the 5600 XT, even a small margin of additional performance (7-10% more) is something I obviously wouldn't mind having. With that said, I downloaded the bios file, as well as the AMD bios flash utility (All provided on the XFX page). Loaded the bios file, and hit Program. It sat for nearly 2 hours not doing anything, before my power decided to go out. I've done a bios update in the past and don't ever remember it taking that long before. Luckily the card has a bios switch located on the card, so I was able to load up the default bios that it shipped with. I'd still like to load up the new bios to get the added performance, but I don't want to brick the card, anyone have any idea why the system completely locked up in the first place? System Specs listed below.

OS: Windows 10

CPU: Ryzen 5 3600X

GPU: XFX RX 5600 XT

MEM: 32 GB DDR4 3200 Vengeance

STORAGE: 500GB Kingston SSD + 3TD Mech Drive

PSU: Thermaltake 700W 80+ Silver

Thank you in advance,

Elisa
