Can you help me?
I'm using a Streamlabs OBS and I want to stream my gameplay to my community but there's a huge problem which always makes me hate this stream stuff forever and it's frustrating. The problem is my stream is always crap and not smooth as it should be. I want to stream 1080p at 60FPS but I'm always tearing even if I can play over 200FPS (for example DOOM). Can somebody help me to find or adjust my settings?
My PC Config.:
i9 9900k 5Ghz all core
16GB 3200mhz RAM
GTX1060 6GB

My OBS Settings.:
Encoder.: Hardware (NVENC) (new)
CBR at 6000 bitrate
Keyframe: 2
Preset: Quality
Profile: High
Max B-Frames: 2
GPU: 0

Video.:
Base (canvas) Resolution: 2560x1080
Output: 2560x1080
Downscale Filter: Bicubic (Sharpened scaling, 16 samples)
FPS Type: Common FPS Value
Common FPS Value: 60

CPU: AMD Ryzen 9 7950X3D

CPU Cooler: Deepcool (illegal in the USA LOL) LT720 WH

GPU: Rocking with an RTX3080

I'm assuming you're streaming to Twitch?

Might be a decent idea that, if the stream itself is suffering from bad frame pacing due to tearing, to just cap the frame rate at something like 120fps (or 60fps in a worst-case scenario).

Check out my guide on how to scan cover art here!

Yes I'm streaming to Twitch. I don't want to cap my FPS because of gsync and 144Hz :D But it did when I played some FPS locked game (Wolfenstein Youngblood) and the quality was also bad even with capped 60FPS.

Hmm...

Could very well just be that you're streaming at too high of a resolution full-stop? I'm pretty sure the card itself can handle better but try lowering the resolution to 1920x810 if you insist on 21:9 streaming.

I'm not sure if it's fixing my problem BUT at least I know the correct resolution for a lower but still 21:9 size :) I love 21:9 so I don't want to make it smaller :)

Whats your upload speed like? Is the issue on your stream when you use another device to preview it, in SLOBS preview or somewhere else? Also, unless you are partner or something like that, Twitch doesn't give you any sort of priority encoding. So if they are having server issues (considering how the world hangs and so on), your stream is first to take a hit. There are external sites telling if some server is having issues, and you can try SLOBS to force use of another server in that case.

Sorry for late reply. Here's my internet speed and I think it's not going to be the problem. image.png.8257752229e5651503aa8eab05af1e4b.png

Usually I'm watching my stream at the same time from my phone with another network (I have 2 gigabit internet in my house) so I can't bottleneck the speed of my main internet. On my secondary monitor I can see the OBS window with everything and that's all. I can't get smooth experience. Is Mixer better than twitch in  terms of encoding?

So the reason I ask where the smoothness issue appears is to pinpoint the part of streaming process it happens. Doesn't actually matter if you use phone or browser on same PC as viewing uses download speed and streaming upload. Closest Twitch server to you is in Vienna, Austria. When using Speedtest for testing, it picks closest server, but I doubt that is issue. Mainly since SLOBS preview is already bad. Do you get dropped frames?

During an hour or 2 hours of streaming, i can get around of 10% dropped frames overall. Is my GTX1060 6GB weak for streaming? :S
