PC randomly restarting

So basically this issue started around 5 days ago playing fallout 4 . It seems to only happen while I am trying to game . My machine does one of two things , it either restarts itself or I suddenly lose display and am unable to do anything besides a hard restart . 

My specs are 

z270 gigabyte mb 

i7700k 

gigabyte rx580 

(no overclock running on cpu or gpu)

coolermaster 750w psu 

corsair h100i v2 liquid cooling 

16GB Ram 

The system is coming up to 3 years old with the gpu and power supply being less than a year old. 

 

 

I have tried cleaning both my gpu and my cooler and an all around cleaning of my whole system but it seems to have done nothing.

Any help would be much appreciated  

 

Edit : forgot to mention this normally happens around 2-3 hours of playing a game

Sounds like you are not getting enough power to your video card/system, and it reboots.

Is there a fix for this? I thought a 750w power supply would be more than enough to run all my components.

If the power supply is going bad, then the solution is to replace it.

Are you certain the power to your PC is clean? Dirty power from the socket can cause this as well

I have had the same issue after updating the BIOS on my Z390 I AORUS PRO WIFI (rev. 1.0) to the F8c

 

No issues with it until that happened, did you update the BIOS?

Unfortunately no, My issue just started happening randomly out of the blue one day
