Bottle necked gpu?

Hi, I have a laptop with a 1060, i5 8300h and 8gb of memory and I'm basically unable to play games on it.

I have updated all the drivers and my temps are gpu:77 degrees  cpu: 85 degrees whilst playing csgo and I'm only getting 20fps, with occasional spikes to 60 and occasional spikes to 200+

I haven't ever cleaned the inside after 1 and a half year, could that be the problem or something else? Thankyou.

Seems to be any game that is even remotely graphics intensive... I can play "mini games" relatively unhindered, just 10-15 second spikes occasionally.

Something is seriously eating up RAM - and the GPU drivers are fucked. Use DDU to reinstall

Yeh, I'm doing and running nothing now and it's still between 65-70%.. Could this be my problem?

your laptop is either dusty inside, and or you have something software wrong with your os. i have a 1060, and 8086k 418/384 drivers 100+ fps even in 4k in csgo. you should get way more than 60fps with that gpu, your cpu isn't a bottleneck. maybe its your ram getting eaten by bloatware?

Like most people suggested I've would do a full reinstall and try with stable drivers. If you're feeling up to it, cleaning the insides is healthy for your laptop. Fan degradation on laptops can be brutal.

I did the reinstall with ddu, uninstalled a few programmes and still getting 20fps.
