I think your question is a bit unclear. Why would you put a paging file in system memory, when it is supposed to be an extension of that memory?

 

On the other hand, if you are asking about putting the pagefile on another drive (the hdd instead of the ssd), you can do that, but you shouldn't because the ssd is most likely a better performer in writing and reading to and from system memory. It is advisable to not completely remove it from the drive you have windows on. You can forcefully set it to a smaller size on your windows drive (limit is/was 512 or 1024 mb) and have a bigger one ("set by the system") on another drive. Unless there is a reason to, you really shouldn't

 

I did it once, a few years ago, because i had little space on a 40 gb ssd and iirc i couldn't update windows 10 because of it. I used the built-in windows tools to remove temporary or unneeded files, disabled hibernation and moved the pagefile to the hdd, to be able to update. Am pretty sure i moved it back after. It was not my primary machine, or my secondary, so i'm sketchy on the details.
