I need software to format a drive as fat32 for my Tesla century mode. I have a windows 10 computer.

Have any questions? Please DM me!

Does win10 no longer allow formatting in fat32?!  That’s dumb.  Should be numerous ways around that particular piece of stupid.  One would be a Linux liveCD.  There are probably easier ones though.

Not a pro, not even very good.  I’m just old and have time currently.  Assuming I know a lot about computers can be a mistake.

Life is like a bowl of chocolates: there are all these little crinkly paper cups everywhere.

Nope, only exFAT, which most devices that need FAT32 are compatible with (but apparently not Tesla?)

Or a lot of older stuff.  Fat32 has problems and it’s very old.  It’s primary advantage is it’s so old it’s out of patent so anything can use it.

Agreed. But at the same time... using it for a modern car like Tesla seems kind of weird, considering the file system is no longer supported by one of the most used OSs out there.

In any case, as you said, a Linux live-CD with GParted should do the trick.
