Resting PC and keeping overclock

Hi all, I would be very thank full if someone could tell me how to reset PC and keep overclock.

 

I've been having problems with windows explorer crashing and other things so want to reset my PC. I've reset lots of PC before but not one that's overclocked and don't know what will happen.

 

Any help would be very much appreciated

Motherboard:  Gigabyte Z87-D3HP

CPU: i7 4770K @3.50GHz // Overclock @ 4.40GHz

RAM: 8G

Storage: 120G SSD

               2T     HDD

I take back what I said; that's for flashing the BIOS only. Settings will remain if you reinstall Windows.

If you mean reformat when you say reset, it will be fine. Hardware overclock has nothing to do with the operating system. But, unless you are 100% sure your overclock is stable, I would install windows @ stock CPU settings to ensure there is no issues with the format. If you are confident in your overclock, you can reformat with it no problem at all!

Soz, It was meant to be 'Resetting PC and keeping overclock'

 

I don't know how to overclock so wanted to know if the settings would stay. (Got PC from Overclockers UK) So it will keep the BIOS Settings?

 

I still don't know why windows explorer keeps crashing but was just going to try resetting it. How much space should i keep free on my 120GB SSD?

Yea, it will keep the BIOS settings. And you want to keep 10% or more free at all times for optimal performance and life.
