Gigabyte Aorus Ultra vs Asus Prime PRO

I have already saw this.

I understand you are a TUF fun!

I really don't like this board. Look TUF from the behind. Is open....lt will fill up with dust.

I like all other board's from Asus

I hate TUF🤣

I'm not a TUF fan, I dont like their graphics card, I dont like how TUF Gaming drags on the old TUF's name without offering equally good use of parts, I dont like how the same paint job appeared on things like cases or coolers or even memory kits, but it's an objective fact that on X570, TUF Plus Prime Pro and X570-F are the same board with minor tweaks so make the product stack look bigger. Otherwise Asus will only have 5 X570 boards, the X570P, the TUF, the Crosshair 8 Hero, the Crosshair 8 Impact, and X570-I.

and the rear is not open when you install the I/O shield. It's just not built onto the board like say, the Aorus elite.

I'd go with the Aorus Ultra. The VRMs on the Asus Prime x570 pro are pretty terrible, and forget about trying to overclock on this board.

Both arent as good of deals.as their cheaper.variant, the Aorus Pro and TUF. Wont really consider these two

But.if I have to the Aorus Ultra offers more features. It has Wifi 6 support, Prime Pro.has no built in Wifi at all. Ultra has 3 M.2 slot, Prime Pro only has 2. Rear IO USB config is mixed, Ultra essentially took Prime Pro's 2 USB 3.0 port and swap them out.for 4 USB 2.0.

I just simple disagree.

Prime Pro has more quality and is better table from TUF. Audiochip is better, Cooler is better VRMs Thermal is better...

I think there is not comparison between TUF and PRIME PRO. ...

So I came back to my first question

Which is better board finally?

Aorus Ultra or Asus Pro?

Same 12 Vishay SiC639 DrMos configuration in 4 phase mode so that's the same thing below the heatsink. No clear enough pictures to distinguish the TUF's heatsink to the Prime Pro's, but they are clearly not finned heatsinks like the one on the Aorus Ultra

and talking about the VRM thermal results, that's tested by using an infrared camera on top of the heatsink...

https://nl.hardware.info/artikel/9411/10/25-amd-x570-moederborden-review-op-de-proef-met-een-3900x-testmethode-minder-maar-nuttigere-tests

And you question me without questioning this method? All this measures is the temperature on top of the heatsink, which is NOT VRM temperature (which is below the heatsink). Metal is a good heat conductor, but not so good that temperature over the entire heatsink is even.

Aorus Ultra. Asus' competing board against the Ultra is the X570-E (which looks similar in features to Ultra) while Prime Pro is just TUF in white and Intel LAN.

Okay! If this is true i can move for Aorus Elite! Have the same Realtek 1200 audio with TUF without A

Which one you suggest?

Which one you suggest?

Aorus Elite or Asus TUF without WiFi?

Aorus Elite has worse heatsinks for sure, so still the TUF is better. Only recommend Elite if it's much cheaper than TUF, aorus Pro and the Asus X570-P got eliminated for other reasons

For Z390 chipset Gigabyte has better VRM's and could possibly overclock better then the ASUS one.

Opppps I made a mistake.  In that case honestly both VRM's are good on both boards.  It is a matter of preference.  You win either way.  Just get the one with a better price tag.
