EZ Debug "VGA" is on. System wont boot

YuppityYap

So I took out my old GPU for an upgrade. and popped in a new one, sadly this new one was defective. The problem is, when I try to boot up my system with the old one now the "VGA" debug light remains on and I cannot boot. Any suggestions?

Well since you haven't told us what you've tried I'll go first: Clear CMOS.

I seem to have fixed it by flipping the psu switch off and back on. Is there any explanation for why this fixed it?

Computer magic.

In short no, not without more info. Now we can only guess one of the thousand things it could be...

When i ask for more specs, don't expect me to know the answer!

I mentioned previously, i fixed it by shutting off and turning back on the PSU switch. Although, i dont know why that fixed it. Do you have any clue?

How do you mean worried? Like if you still need to do it, or that you did it wrong?
