PS4 randomly shutting off

So, I have a normal PS4 aka slim, that causes me headache over the last few weeks. It randomly shuts off, I've tried reinstalling it from zero, it worked... for a while, then it happens again. I tried reinstall it the second time, it just simply won't comply. I tried plugging it straight to the wall to no avail. I thought to myself it could be just a bad software, but further on I start to think that it could be a hardware issue. Can anyone help? Since I have never had a PS4 before.

How old is it? Is it new or bought second hand?

Might need a cleaning and a reapplication of thermal paste.

Thermal throttling. Clean the fuck out of it and replace the thermal paste.
