Okay, this is something I expect won't be specifically easy to fix but I'm really hoping there is something really simple I'm missing.  While COD Warzone is open, Discord is super laggy and I will constantly disconnect from the call.  My squad mates will use push to talk in game to tell me that I've left the discord server, while on my screen it shows I'm still connected.  While I am in the call, I can't hear anything and nobody can hear me.  Sometimes, I'll hear someone's keyboard click or a word of a sentence before it cuts out again.  When I tab out of the game to any window, everything works perfectly fine.

This seems very similar to when I'm performing a CPU intensive task like opening Minecraft or starting a video render where discord will cut out for ~5 seconds.  Obviously it's more extreme with Warzone.  The only thing I've tried so far is restarting the machine and setting Discord's CPU priority to high in task manager.  The audio for the game and in game voice chat works fine.

Any ideas on possible solutions or alternate roots of the issue (other than CPU)?
