I'm building my first AMD build 20 years. I was going to use Ryzen 5 3600 with Asrock X570 Phantom gaming 4 with ADATA XPG DDR4 3200 16gig 2x8 sticks. An Enermax Liqmax II 120 96 CFM Liquid CPU Cooler, XFX Radeon RX 590 8 GB FATBOY OC Video Card, Apevia 650 W ATX Power Supply or a 600 watt semi modular power supply, Raidmax Vortex ATX Mid Tower Case. i will add a PNY 240gig SATA SSD 2 LG blu ray burners and a few other assorted SATA HD 2TB also windows 10 PRO 64 bit. Ihave an ACER 27inch 1080P monitor will upgrade to a 29-32 inch 1440 or higher monitor. My question is that am I building  a good gaming computer. I have built nothing but Intel computer for the last 20 years my last was I5 devil canyon with 32 gig of ram with EVGA gtx 1060 ASROCK board H97 PRO M.

Ryzen 5 3600 doesn't need an AIO, the stock cooler is fine. Unless of course you simply want an AIO.

The motherboard can be cut back, if you haver no need of the PCIe 4.0 stuff (which if you're gaming then you do not), go with a B450 Tomahawk Max.

Did you say 2 LG BluRay burners?  Whatever for?

If you cut the AIO and motherboard a bit, you can get a much better video card.  Radeon 5700 for example.

I would even consider going back to a Ryzen 5 2600 and getting a 5700XT with the spare cash.

That mobo is quite reasonable being a X570, he probably wants something more future proof. The B450's Max and so on, the price difference is not big enough to justify getting a B450.

If you are going entry level X570 then you would just get the Asus Prime X570-P over that ASRock board.
