Will it meet my requirements?

So, i'm about to upgrade my gpu from 1050ti to 2060 super (Wanted to get a 2070 super, but got big discount on 2060s) , and i'm wondering if the PC will be able to run the newest games for next 2-3 years. The PC will look like this after the upgrade:

 

R7 3700x

Corsair Hydro Series H100i v2

2060 super

16gb ram 3200mhz cl16

Yes.

Considering a 1060 is still running the newest games and is 3 years old, I would say yes.

Now, AAA games at ultra settings with 60FPS, no, but you can run them.

Will it run new and upcoming games, sure.

 

Will it run them at max settings in 4K at 60+ fps, no. It will run them with good looking graphics however. I run most games at smack full at 1080p except for RDR 2, there I have to go medium/high/ultra but it still looks astonishing and I get 50-60 fps.

 

Jedi Fallen Order, Doom Eternal, Odyssey are among the games I run at max settings with 75 fps locked with Vsync in 1080p. Rise of the Tomb Raider I run with these settings at 70-74 fps.
