Need info on WIFI Blu-Ray drive

Anyone know anything about wifi drives? Like why/when you would need/use one and how to use/ set it up? Thanks for and help/info!!!!

I guess it would have it's own batteries or something and you'd use it when you want the drive avaialble everywhere in the network. It would be set up just like any other device such as a wifi printer, by connecting to your router and accessing it via an IP address.

Im reading that it can stream movies. Question is, to what? And does it only stream internet movies? Or can it also stream blu ray discs?

I would think it would stream movies on blu ray disks to the PC or a smart TV/ (WiFi itself doesn't mean the internet, it's a method of network connectivity)
