i wanna see if im getting the right stuff for the price

Go to solution Solved by Guiltyxz,

I would personally go with Ryzen

PCPartPicker Part List
Type Item Price
CPU AMD Ryzen 7 3700X 3.6 GHz 8-Core Processor $296.47 @ Amazon
Motherboard Asus TUF GAMING X570-PLUS (WI-FI) ATX AM4 Motherboard $189.99 @ Best Buy
Prices include shipping, taxes, rebates, and discounts
  Total $486.46

But if you want Intel, then not everything is there but not a bad deal. But you would be fine with a 750w PSU

im building a pc with 1700 dollars and are these prices equivalent to how good or reliable these parts are for gaming.

nvidia rtx 2070 super

i7 8700k

32 GB ddr4 ram 4x8 gb ram sticks

water cooling block (idk brand)

corsair 1000w psu

ATX mid-tower with rgb

Dell E1916 19" widescreen x 1

asus ROG xi

asus rog maximus xi hero

keyboard mouse backlight adjustable

comment if this is a good setup and if there are stuff better or cheaper but with similar or better value/benchmark

Alright so, first you don't need a 1000W PSU it's WAY overkill for this rig. This CPU is last gen so just don't buy it, go Ryzen instead. For gaming you don't need more then 16GB of RAM and you don't need a AIO water cooler.

This is the part I suggest (you'll need to add your peripherals):

PCPartPicker Part List

CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 3700X 3.6 GHz 8-Core Processor  ($296.47 @ Amazon)
Motherboard: MSI B450 TOMAHAWK MAX ATX AM4 Motherboard  ($114.99 @ B&H)
Memory: G.Skill Ripjaws V 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4-3600 Memory  ($84.99 @ Amazon)
Storage: Crucial P1 1 TB M.2-2280 NVME Solid State Drive  ($109.99 @ B&H)
Video Card: Gigabyte GeForce RTX 2070 SUPER 8 GB WINDFORCE OC 3X Video Card  ($499.99 @ B&H)
Case: Phanteks P300 ATX Mid Tower Case  ($59.94 @ Amazon)
Power Supply: EVGA SuperNOVA G1+ 750 W 80+ Gold Certified Fully Modular ATX Power Supply  ($102.98 @ Newegg)
Total: $1269.35
Prices include shipping, taxes, and discounts when available
