Looking for seminar topics

Hi,

I want to use the lockdown to prepare for a seminar about memory hierarchy (hardware, software, algorithms, everything related to it). We can write about our own topics which is what I want to do. I am sadly not creative enough to think about a good one that is not too broad. The class starts in two weeks and I want to have a head start because it will be a busy semester.

I came up with:
- virtual memory (theoretical background and implementation in windows)
- shared memory synchronization

Any tips are welcome! :)
