Laptop display not working?!

Hey I have a hp pavilion 14ce0597sa and the screen is remaining black (no display at all) despite turning the laptop on. I have tried replacing the ram and connecting to a external display (which also produces no display) I have also tried changing the SSD but none of my attempts have fixed it. If any of you know of any possible ideas what could be wrong and how to fix it I would be extremely grateful. Thank you

First you need to find out if it is actually booting or not. Do you ever get anything on the display? 

If not, it is either not initiating boot or there is a problem with the display. 

Might also try connecting it to an external display if possible and see if there is any output. 

To try and see if it is just the back light on the screen, you can try starting it and shining a flash light at it and see if there are any signs of life that way.

sounds like a dead mobo dude. are you able to remove the rams (if its not soldered on the mobo) and boot? if it doesnt beep when booting without ram, mobo's dead.
