Compatibility issue with GPU?

Alois Luong

Hi,

So I'm kinda new to DIY PC building. Recently, I decided to upgrade my old pc with a gpu (Gigabyte GV-N210D3-1GI Rev. 1.0).

However, upon installing the hardware, my pc turns on (with the regular beep) but the monitor doesn't show anything.

All the fans are on and the PC doesn't shut down.

My specs are:

- Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-945GCM

- CPU: Intel Celeron 430

- PSU: 500W (local brand)

- Memory: 2 sticks, 2GB DDR2 KINGMAX KLDE88F-B8KU5Y

- Storage: Seagate Barracuda 500GB (with Windows XP)

i found some driver and bios updates. Update to latest bios and drivers first. your motherboard should support the gpu with no problem. come back when you had done updating

I Use my knowledge as business owner and self taught technician aswell as an AI to help people. AI might be controversial but it actually works pretty well 90% of the time.
