you have to bios update that motherboard. Get msi motherboard with "MAX" at the end; they are already bios updated to support newest ryzen.

EVGA rtx 2060 ko is the best rtx 2060. It uses parts from rtx 2080 but its still rtx 2060.

g.skill rippjaws 3600mhz cl16 its the cheapest and sweetspot ram for your ryzen. Your ram is not that bad, but the rippjaws (cl16 version) is a lot better.

 

you have: good psu, good ssd, good pc case, good cpu. well done!

Thank you for letting me know about the bios update I didn't know and don't have an old cpu to update the bios with

It's more of a feature than a risk and the Carbon is a slightly better board but the Tomahawk Max is also pretty good so whatever suits you.

There is no reason why the Gaming Pro Carbon should not have an up to date bios by now. If you are buying from Scan then just ask them if they can verify it is Ryzen 3000 ready. Otherwise updating it is a 2 min job.
