Hi,

I am looking forward to buy a pc. As I am new in the scene I want to ask you if this parts list is reasonable for the price and my purpose or if you can give me advice on what to chose instead. Also I‘ll just stick to the post recommendations from the pinned post.

1.

My budget is around 1000€, I can go a little over it, but need to get a monitor as well.

My location is germany.

2.

I will use the pc mostly for gaming. Sometimes I will do some light photo and video editing.

I will play mostly Destiny 2, The Witcher 3, Forza Hoizon 4 and Minecraft, but I want to be able to play some games in the next years, even though I don‘t need maxed out settings.

3.

I currently only own two old 1600 x 1200 Office Monitors (HP LP2065), so I will need a new one. A single monitor will be enough for me. Maybe I will upgrade to a two monitor setup in the future. I was thinking about a ACER Nitro QG241Y. Is this a good budget monitor or do you have other recommendations for this price?

4.

I already own a good enough keyboard and mouse, but will need a Windows 10 License. However I am ok with a 25€ License ffrom a key reseller.

My Current list is in the pdf I put in the post.

Yes I know there are cheaper B450 boards out there, but I chose this one because Asus is known for its very good boards and bios, and to have quality components is pretty important to me.

Also I need the Storage, because I am hobby photographer and shoot much raw photos so the files are pretty big and I have many of them.

Dude, my one comment is that this will probably be overkill for the games and things you want to play. At 1080p at least.

i would recommend getting a 1440p monitor or maybe downgrading your GPU to a 1070 (bit old but more than enough for you.) and saving a few bucks.

but otherwise, really well rounded build. Good job and happy building!

pcpartpicker is generally a more convenient way to share parts lists

some small adjustments:

The part prices seem to be a bit different than the ones you listed, but the changes I made are more economical. The motherboard quality, as you mentioned, is important, so I added the Tomahawk MAX, which also has a good BIOS. The advantage that it has is that it's guaranteed to work with 3rd gen Ryzen straight out of the box. The SSD you selected is fairly expensive for only 500GB, so I chose a more affordable model. The power supply you chose is of poor quality for a gaming PC, so I picked a more preferable model.

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 11 and Fedora Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

I Use my knowledge as business owner and self taught technician aswell as an AI to help people. AI might be controversial but it actually works pretty well 90% of the time.
