Is the ryzen stock cooler on an OC 3700x enough for gaming and a little bit of video editing? I wanna get the most out of that CPU, so if the stock cooler is enough then i can save some money to spend on something else. If it's not good enough i'm open for suggestions on an aftermarket cooler.

Enabling PBO in the BIOS is preferable when using the stock cooler.

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 11 and Fedora Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

PSU tier list

How many watts do I need?

Why?

PBO technically voids warranty (although they can't check) and it is meant for overclockking?

not sure what you mean by this

PBO is a replacement for manual overclocking, allowing the CPU to increase speed based on thermals. For less capable coolers, it's a lot more convenient for the same result.

I'd recommend seeing how it performs with the stock cooler first. You can decide on whether or not to change the cooler depending on the results.

If you ever need help with a build, read the following before posting: http://linustechtips.com/main/topic/3061-build-plan-thread-recommendations-please-read-before-posting/
