That's a pretty high end config all things considered. Just make sure you don't have an old green label Corsair power supply - those had heat issues and I wouldn't trust them

I'm gonna open my pc in a few to check what psu I have, it's a cx500 pretty sure

That's a green label, yeah. You may want to look into a better one - CX550 (Grey label) or anything of a similar grade

Isnt it sufficient though, shouldnt i be able to just use my one for a bit then upgrade
