Hi guys, I'm planning to build a gaming desktop, but I don't know if it the CPU is too overkill.

My PC Specs:

SSD: Corsair Force MP600 M.2 2280 500gb PCI-Express Gen 4.0

I'm probably going for a casual gaming, and editing, I'm thinking if the CPU is a overkill for the Graphics cards. Thank you.

An 8 core ryzen will be plenty for casual editing.

you don't need the 3900x for gaming.

better motherboard, more ram, cheaper ssd (you don't need gen 4), better psu
