Bottleneck?

so working on flipping a system, have a 

amd A8-5500 apu

amd rx570 4gb

wondering if the apu is bottlenecking the graphics card i get 300+fps in menus but its is unplayable in games going between 40-3 fps with super stutters think of upgrading the cpu to a athlon x4 860k thoughts?

Most definitely CPU bottleneck, but I wouldn't bother investing in a dead platform. I would recommend saving up and switching to a more modern platform (something like a R3 1200 and A320 mobo) if you are on a tight budget.

You're joking if you think the menu is a good comparison for the frame rates you get.

this is litterally to flip i want to spend as little as possible would the new cpu work with the graphics card?
