I moved small hdd to my pc from a laptop. It contained a few viruses. I had them removed by windows defender. Is my pc safe?

It's quite unlikely any virus would infect anything other than the hdd.

Your PC should be fine. I don't think that the Virus would have gotten in anything else other than that hdd that it was in originally.
