Hi,

I keep getting computation errors when I was running Rosetta@home.

The error code is 0xC0000005 (STATUS_ACCESS_VIOLATION) and 0xC0000409  (STATUS_STACK_BUFFER_OVERRUN)

How do I fix it ?

Thanks.

PS. I run Folding@home on GPU at the same btw. I don't know if that would affect anything.

How many CPU cores do you have and have assigned to Rosetta? You need to leave at least 1 free for the GPU, if you do anything else on that machine leave 2. So for example if you have 6-core CPU, you can use 4 cores for Rosetta, one will be used for f@h and one remains for other tasks.

Also note that threads are not cores. Bot applications need exclusive access to cache and instruction sets. You could try to assign certain cores to specific projects (via task manager).

Oh, I do not know that 😮

I assign 5 cores (10 threads) for Rosetta while running  f@h, and watch Youtube at the same time. (I am using a 6 core CPU)

I try assigning 4 cores for Rosetta and see what happen.

Thank you :)

I still getting same errors after I assigned 4 cores for  Rosetta@home and 2 cores for Folding@home.
