Hello everyone, I have a mid-2013 MacBook Air, and while I can play games on it, the performance is not quite as I would personally like it to be. The issue, I think, boils down to the integrated Intel HD Graphics 4000 iGPU. I know Thunderbolt 3 eGPU setups exist, but the information about Thunderbolt 2 based once is quite scarce. My question is, since both of these standard support PCIe links, are there any Thunderbolt 2 eGPUs, or can a Thunderbolt 3 one be back-ported to run on Thunderbolt 2? Thanks!
