Outside case LED mounting?

Why wouldnt you just put them in your case?

I don't have a full window side panel. I'm just trying to figure out some cool things I can do to mod my case.

 

My case is the Cooler Master Elite 350.

I know but there would be no point because I don't have a side panel window.

I think you'd only be able to do this if you case has water cooling grommets.

You could drill a hole in the back for the wires to pass through, cut the ends of the wires (or undo them if its a 3 pin connector) so the hole doesn't have to be too big. Then redo the ends of the wires. I wouldn't worry about the wires being cut from the hole because it doesn't move a lot, but if you would be wrap some electrical tape around the all the wires together to make one big bunch. Would prevent it from cutting through.

I recommend something like the Antec Accent Lighting if your planning to do something outside the case and don't want to drill extra holes or run wires since it runs off a USB port.
