Laptop Problems

I recently got my old Toshiba L500-1DT out from under my bed and powered it on, when i tried to type my password the keyboard wasn't working. So i took the keyboard out and tried to re-connected it, It now works with some key's but not all of them. So i disconnected it and tried a second time and now different keys work that didn't from the first time.

 

Do you think i need a new keyboard or is the laptop broken?

Probably keyboard as it worked and then it didn't but could just be old and broke

I would check for dust in it and clear it all out then try.

I think the keyboard has more chances of being broken or at least having some problems.

I just cleaned the connector for the key it is now just type 'e' a lot and no other key is work. I think i will try ordering a new one.

Try to Clean the connectors with lemon juice & vinegar .. u never know

I had issues with some keys not working on my laptop. I just took it out and reseated it but after a while the same keys weren't working again so I took it out again and cleaned it that time. No issues since.
