Is it possible to make a wifi repeater or range extender using an old PC? I have an old computer that has 2 ethernet ports that I can use.

Reason is because the internet in my room (Top floor of the house, router is in the basement) is utter shit :)

Thanks :D

I think pfsense can do it.

If the computer already has Windows try this: http://www.ehow.com/how_12181903_make-wifi-repeater-old-computer.html

You'd also need the extra card for pfsense anyway.
