What 2 do without backplate

I recently bought a gigabyte b450m gaming x motherboard and it didn’t come with the backplate for the cooler. Is there an alternative way for mounting a cooler.

 

Any help is appreciated

The cooler itself should come with the backplate not the motherboard. Because not all coolers are weighty enough to justify the backplate.

I’m using the stock wraith stealth cooler doesn’t it need a backplate?

Yes. 

 

If you bought a new board, there's a backplate somewhere. If you bought used, well time to jerryrig.

The wraith stealth needs the backplate in the back of the motherboard, if you don’t have it you might need to buy a new cooler with its own backplate.
